This policy outlines the procedures and protocols regarding the allocation of moment serial numbers within AFL Mint. It is crucial to maintain transparency and fairness in the distribution of serial numbers to ensure a positive experience for our users.
- Serial Number Generation:
- Our backend system generates sets of serials based on the edition/tier size of each new moment introduced in the drop.
- Serials and tiers are developed before randomization to verify the creation of each serial number.
- Randomization Process:
- Once all the moments are generated, the next step is generating the pack combinations.
- The randomised serials are placed in an opaque system, ensuring that the team does not have access to the position or allocation of serial numbers.
- The team cannot predict when sought-after serial numbers will be minted, enhancing the element of surprise for users.
- Allocation Procedure:
- Serial numbers are selected by our backend system randomly.
- For example, if a buyer purchases a 2-pack, the backend initiates the randomizer function to select one of the remaining 2 packs.
- Upon purchase a Pack NFT is minted with the contents of the pack as the metadata for the NFT.
- Once the user opens the pack, the NFTs inside are minted on-chain and the pack NFT destroyed.
- Ensuring Fairness:
- The randomization process is designed to prevent any bias or manipulation in serial number allocation.
- The team does not have the ability to influence or determine the allocation of specific serial numbers to individual users.
- This approach guarantees fairness and equal opportunity for all buyers.
- This policy ensures that our serial number allocation process is transparent, random, and fair, contributing to a positive user experience within our platform. All team members are expected to adhere to these procedures to maintain the integrity of our system.
